31st Ranger Battalion
The 31st Ranger Battalion is a unit tasked with supporting the Armed Forces' special operations forces. The battalion is a standing ranger unit with high availability and is trained for missions with short preparation times. The unit carries out tasks across the entire conflict spectrum, both within Sweden's borders and in other parts of the world.
As an administrative officer in the 31st Ranger Battalion, you will report directly to the personnel manager, who leads the HR/personnel section (S1) of the battalion.
Main Responsibilities
The role of administrative officer/administrator primarily involves providing administrative support and developing personnel work for the battalion's part-time personnel, reserve officers (RO), and soldiers (GSST).
You contribute to identifying experiences related to working with reserve officer issues and translating these experiences into routines and regulations. The position also includes conducting training for commanders and part-time personnel so that they know how to utilize routines and regulations.
The daily work mainly consists of administration and processing in an office environment but may also involve service in the field during exercises. Ongoing administrative tasks include sending out summons, following up on personnel competencies, time reporting, and carrying out various orders based on the responsible manager's directives.

Requirements for the Position
- High school education with passing grades
- Documented and current experience in administration
- Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- A good ability to understand regulations and policies
- Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing - in both Swedish and English
- Driver's license, manual transmission
- Passed Excel test (to be conducted during the interview if applicable)
Meritorious
- Post-secondary education or work experience deemed equivalent by the employer that is relevant to the position
- Experience working with the Armed Forces' support systems, such as PRIO/SAP & VIDAR
- Experience in signal protection operations
- Driving license in the Armed Forces
- Experience working in a government agency

Livregementets husarer, K 3, has fast and powerful units and a long experience in the intelligence field. K 3 trains a ranger battalion and an intelligence battalion. The ranger battalion is a unit with high mobility that should be able to be the first on site during a mission. The intelligence battalion delivers intelligence by using advanced technology, ground personnel, and unmanned aerial vehicles (RPAS).
